My Week in Cornwall

You can see more photos and even a few video clips over on my Instagram.

I visited... Stonehenge, Gwynver beach, Sennen Cove, Newquay, Penzance, St Ives, Porthcurno, St Michael's Mount, Pendennis Castle, and Cape Cornwall.

I ate... Nachos, Vegetarian Chilli and Rice, Chips, Strawberries, Starbucks Morrocan-spiced vegetable wraps, and a few salads. On different days, obviously.

I read... Looking for Alaska by John Green, Lola and the Boy Next Door by Stephanie Perkins, Valentine Joe by Rebecca Stevens and She Is Not Invisible by Marcus Sedgwick. I ran out of books two days before we left because I'd been forced to lower the amount of books I was taking from 7 to 4.

I missed... my cat. We had to leave him in a cattery for the week, and it was the first time he had been away from home since he was abandoned by his previous owners two years ago. What else did I miss? YALC. Yep. *sigh*

I bought... flower crowns, postcards, Burn After Writing, and two t-shirts which perfectly describe my life.

I wrote... blog posts. Lots and lots of blog posts. They're currently in a jumbled mess on my phone.

What are your plans for the summer? Or winter, depending on where you are...

  2. This all looks so pretty you should have stuffed me in your suitcase and bring me along. Wow you read a lot on vacation. I'm on vacation/camp right now and I only brought one book for four weeks though I'm hoping to get some ebooks on my iPod. I'm just worried because I can't attach any links on the aforementioned iPod so I won't be able to do as many posts. Cornwall looks like a huge achievement!

    1. Thank you! Looking for Alaska was AMAZING. I'll be reviewing it soon but I'll say this now - it was better than The Fault in Our Stars. Seriously. x

  6. These photos are GORGEOUS! Especially love the one of you jumping. Cornwall sounds and looks amazing- I would love to go as I've never been. One day.. When I think about it, I haven't been to many places in the UK.. Small town girl, eh? That's why it's always a bit of a shock to the system when I go to London. Weirdly, when I'm in Lisbon I don't feel so different, despite spending lots of time in a small town in Portugal. WOW, I've gone off topic... I'll be reading Looking For Alaska soon, so I'm looking forward to crying on your shoulder once I've finished it.. hahaha! :D
