You are going to love this book by artist Zoe Ford. With more than 45 pages full of tips and tricks, breathtaking art, useful information and more, you aren't just buying a book. You're making an investment.
The cover is so unique and eye catching, with the different doodles and patterns within the letters. I love it, it's really pretty and I know the illustration took a lot of work!
I don't actually like non-fiction books, and I avoid having to read them at all costs, even if I need it for homework. However, this one interested me and I was pleasantly surprised. Ford is a debut author but her writing technique holds your attention and it's written in such a way that even beginners like me can understand. I think that was a nice touch because not everyone is an expert at zendoodling like she is!
Having done a bit of research, I don't think there are any other books out there on this subject, and it is truly one-of-a-kind. It's really informative but in a light way and the illustrations accompanying the text are great! I would have liked the book to be longer because I feel like there was more to be said, but it says there may be another book coming out so I'll wait for that!
This book was actually written by my Mum, but this hasn't effected my review and I've tried to remain professional. It's just a bit weird referring to my Mum as 'Zoe Ford' or just 'Ford' but there you go...:D This book is actually dedicated to me and one of my drawings is included in it, along with some that were submitted by other artists, which was really cool to see! I give this book 4.5/5.
