Feature and Follow Friday #11

The Feature and Follow is hosted by TWO hosts, Parajunkee and Alison of Alison Can Read.

Q: Have you ever broken up with a series? If so, which one and why?
Well, I didn't exactly hate Twilight but it didn't keep my attention and I found it boring, so I found no reason to carry on reading it. I think I only got to page 20 or so in the first book...

  1. It's the first time I hear someone broke up with Twilight. Back then when I was reading it, I was so thrilled. Now that I think about it...it's ok.

  2. Hello there! So, at the moment there's this cute little bee speech bubbling my view HAHA. And yes I'm a new follower! I didn't get past Twilight myself, which should have sucked but... I dunno, beyond all the hype, I don't think I'm missing much, really :D Love the post :)

  3. I loved twilight! And I love the bee! But if I had started withthe first book, I might not have made it through the series either.

    1. Thank you! I've seen the films and they're okay, I guess. Just didn't get on with the books. Glad you enjoyed them though. :)

  4. I actually read a few of the Twilight books to see what the fuss was about. Afterwards I was like "What the hell did I just put in my brain?!?" I don't even consider that a break-up since I was reading more for curiosity/being able to discuss than for enjoyment.

  5. Wow! You decided to break off that relationship quickly! If I broke up with every book I wasn't crazy about by page 20, I think my DNF list would be ridiculously long! :-)

    Here's my FF.

  6. Hi there. I just hopped over from The Creative Forum. I'm starting to figure out this blog hop stuff. I'm a new follower by the way.

Also, as I've mentioned on a bunch of other blogs, I quit reading The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy Series after book 4. I loved the first few books, then I just wasn't into it anymore. I stopped reading it before I started to dislike it.
