I don't think I would ever go if I had to fly there and pay hotels etc. But I'm lucky that BEA in NYC is withing an hour's drive - just have to pay for parking.Tanya PatriceGirlxoxo.com
You're so lucky!
The suitcase is a good idea. I'll think about that too. :)New follower. Here is my FF http://between-my-lines.blogspot.gr/2013/04/feature-and-follow-9-reader-conventions.html
Thanks for your comment and for following. I'll have a look at your blog now.
I'm asking the same question, why are the plane ticket so freaking expensive :D They should have something like black Friday for plane tickets too, so even people from Europe can stack on them lol :DAnyway, your blog is really really cute :) New follower ;)Here's my F&F: Maria's Bookshelf
That's a good idea :D Thanks for commenting and following!
I would love to attend any of them. Since I live in Sweden it´s kind of hard though =)New Follower!http://ratherbarefoot.blogspot.se/2013/04/follow-friday_12.html
I'm in the UK so it's difficult. Thanks for following!
I would hide you in my suitcase if i could so we'd both be able to attend a convention for the first time :)new followerhttp://itchingforbooks.blogspot.com/2013/04/feature-and-follow-43.html
Haha thank you ;D
Thanks for visiting my blog :). This makes my complaint seem very insignificant. It's a million times more difficult for you, since all these conventions are in a whole other country, while for me, its just in a different state. And England is not boring! (or so I've heard) I am so jealous of the accents!-Summer New follower!
Haha thanks for following, Summer! :)
I love attending book conventions! But sadly I only go to one each year! Hopefully we can all go to the BEA in NYC!Happy Reading New FollowerMy FF: http://wwwthebookshelves.blogspot.com/2013/04/follow-friday-22-bea-ala-and-rt-time.html
Thanks for following. BEA sounds amazing!
Haha, I live in the USA, and I still haven't gone to any major ones. It's so hard when distance and transportation is a problem. But it's even worse for you out-of-the-USA people! I'm sorry :\New Bloglovin follower!Check out my FF post!
I hope you can go to a major one soon! Thanks for following.
I feel you! Why do tickets have to be so expensive to fly overseas?! It stinks! I live in the US and I would love to attend one of those conventions myself. Maybe someday I'll get the opportunity.Old FollowerThanks for visiting my FF!Jessica@Lovin' Los Libros
I hope you get to go to one of the conventions someday! :)
I know how I feels! I wish there were more festivals to go to in the U.K. Despite all of my personal favourite authors only touring in the U.S. :( - they're are still some great events in the U.K. Have you ever been to the Hay Festival? I'm going this year and am so excited. Authors like Sophie Mckenzie, Michael Morpurgo and Sophia Bennett are there. It's on the outskirts of Wales. -Sophie:)
Have fun at the Hay Festival! I want to go every year but no one will take me as it's pretty far away. :/
I would LOVE to go to America someday! :'( I wish plane tickets were less expensive. I have only been to one author event (in London) but it was amazing. I really should go to more :PI hope you get to go to one soon, America!
I've been to couple of author events in London and one in Cambridge, but not for a couple of years. We should both try and go to more! :)
Same here I am totally poor LOL
Same :D It doesn't help that I'm only 14 so have no way of earning a good amount of money haha.

I don't live in the US either, but I would LOVE to attend some of these conventions. It would be great to meet all my US blogger friends, too. :)
It would be amazing!
